ANU OWEEK ! ! !

A trip down to Canberra for their annual toga party proved to be a very messy/enjoyable/interesting night. ANU put together a raging party full of Greek attires and alcohol suppliers, that both started and ended with a bang. Sound and lighting was again impeccable with lasers, smoke and more lights then you could poke a stick at streaming over the chaotic crowd, wrapped in sheets and spilt drinks.

Our conventional set from 9 till 12 took us through the usual genres, beginning with reasonably chilled progressive house and then quickly moving into the classic's once the crown had loomed.

Over 2000 people turned up to the event which was centered around our stage, making it impossible to escape the relentless crowd. This was our most satisfying gig to date. As the members of st Johns and Burgermans (not sure this is correct) college absolved their dignity and let loose on the dance floor we sat back and enjoyed the best view ANU had to offer.

As St Johns College theme song was Memories (the lrycis had even been written on posters within the building), David Guetta proved to be a big success. As per usual our final song was dancing in the moonlight by Toploader which always proves to be a popular and soppy final track. Below are a few of the songs that helped build up the crowd, and that we strongly recommend you download if you have not already done so:

Memories - David Guetta Feat. Kid Cudi

Dancing in the moonlight - Toploader

Because I Got High - Afroman
(la da da da dada da. . .)

Heartbreaker (Laidback Luke Remix) - MSTRKRT feat. John Legend
(never fails to go off)

Kidsos (Wippenberg Remix) - Sebastian Ingrosso

Wippenberg - Chakalaka
(very under rated track, with unbelievable progressive peak)

We are working towards turning the above songs into hyper links so they can be easily downloaded, and hope in the near future will make it to hype machine where our music will be easily accessible.

BlackBerry Schnitzel. . . . .

BlackBerry event that we played at on the 10th.

This event was held on cockatoo island, Sydney Harbour, and is the home of a number of old shipping warehouses. With a great sound system, and promising acoustics bouncing off the antinque machinery and modern lighting, the event proved to be very successful.

A multiplicity of genres were punished throughout the night, enabling us to play an array of old/new school tracks. However a variety of progressive/mainstream house and old hip hop proved to be the most desirable music throughout the night. This included the likes of Cypress Hill, Adam K and Soho, Calvin Harris, Laidback Luke and Sebastian Ingrosso.

All in all a fantastic evening ! ! - the music selection was everywhere but in the end a few classics definitely got us through, including:

Jump Around - House of pain

Satisfaction vs. Be - Steve Angello vs. LBL

One More Time (Sebastian Leger Bootleg Remix) - Daft Punk

WARP 1.9 (Feat. Steve Aoki) - The Bloody Beetroots
